Internet filters in public places
Tuesday, May 11, 2010
As many of you know, last year we were strong supporters of MP Gerry Martinuik’s Bill 202, Private Member’s Bill an Act to Protect Our Children.
This Bill was being introduced in hopes that it would become law for all public libraries and public schools to have Internet filters in place. This bill, amongst many others died in March. Tomorrow on May 12, 2010, this bill is being re-introduced. Pure Pages still strongly supports this issue and we wish MP Martinuik all our best and provide him with full support on this topic.
We will post more information on this Bill as time passes.
